Cookie policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small, simple text files that are placed on your computer’s hard drive when you visit a web page. These cookies can optimise your website visit. For example, your preferences are stored in order to show you only information that is of interest to you. Another benefit is that you do not always need to log in or fill in the same information when visiting a certain website.

Why do we inform you about the use of cookies?

On Tuesday 5 June 2012, the amended Telecommunications Act entered into force in the Netherlands. This means, among other things, that certain cookies may only be placed with the explicit permission of the internet user. Therefore, we inform you that our website uses cookies and why we do this.

Google Analytics

Cookies also make it possible to keep track of visitor statistics. We use Google Analytics to gain insight into the behaviour of visitors to our website. This information allows us to monitor the surfing and visiting behaviour of our visitors and, where possible, to optimise our website for you. The information Google collects is anonymised to the extent possible. Your IP address is not included.

Accepting or refusing cookies

You can decide whether to accept or refuse cookies. Most browsers are set to accept cookies by default, but you can usually adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies. You will need to reset the settings for each browser and for each computer. You can find more information about changing the settings in the ‘help function’ of your browser:

Google Chrome (our personal favourite)
Internet Explorer
Mozilla Firefox
Apple Safari
Please note: Some features and services, on our and other websites, may not function properly if cookies are disabled in your browser.
